I absolutely LOVE hot power yoga. I do it 2-5 times a week and I have never been stronger. To be completely honest, I was sore today from all the chaturangas (basically a plank to a push up into upward dog). So yes it does build strength and it is AMAZING for your body. My only advice is to start slow. Go for an intro to heat class first and build your way up. If you go straight into an intermediate hot yoga class, you will most likely get dizzy unless you’re used to heat.

Haha yes it will definitely help as long as you’re lifting correctly and eating well :)
If your goal is to gain muscle, lift very heavy (as heavy as you can with correct form) and low reps. 1-2 sets of 8-10
