I don’t calculate BMIs because I don’t necessarily agree with a lot of them. My BMI is in the overweight category. I realize I weigh more than I should for my height, but I am also muscular. Just by looking at me, people would not categorize me as overweight, not even my doctor did. However, once they calculated my BMI they said the chart said I was. That is why i try to stay away from calculating BMIs for people because that tell you nothing about the fat to muscle ratio of their body.
